At this very moment, I do not think that i really have any one that could wright me a recommendation. I'm pretty sure thats mainly becuase I haven't been here long enough to make any conections with the proffosers yet. If I were to go back to highschool I could have a few people that would be happy to right one for me.

If I had to get one from a prof. tomorrow,i would go to my calc teacher becuase he is the only one that has had enough personal interaction with me to be able to right a recommendation about me that would be truethful. But i find it funny that he mainly knows me as the "Trig Guy", even though its in calc.

I wanted to join a club that was going to be in my major, but since I do not have one picked out yet, it was kind of hard to pick on to join. I have not actually officially joined one yet, but the one I want to join, I can't remember its name, but its related to Aerospace. Its a club thats actually funded by NASA and they build this satelite for space. The first thing they have to do is come up with a design and then they use high altitude weather balloons to take it up to 100,000 feet to see how it does in cold and almost 0 gravity conditions. Then they'll bring it down, fix it and send it back up for real, into space. This is all suppose to happen with in the time frame of me being here, so thats kind of one reason I would like to join this club is becuase I will be able to be there from start to finish. It its also a club that if i don't go into the aerospace, it would still be cool to be in it becuase I know I would enjoy it.

Every once in a while you have to take the bull by the horns, hang on tight, try with all your might to hang on for the full eight seconds. Well, that’s what it felt like I had to do. I needed to take control and responsibility that I never really had before. It was always go to someone and ask what I needed to do next. Then it reached the point where it was my turn to take the bull by the horn and oh so much more.
It was a normal week of work at Target. I showed up, went to my work station and did as I was told. If I was told to make pizza, I did it. If they said to go bring in carts, I was on it. I did everything they said, well at least I tried. The week had been going pretty well and it was almost over. It was Saturday morning when I showed up to open Food Avenue. I got to work 10 minutes early and was ahead of schedule until my boss decided she felt like calling in sick. That’s when the fun really began.
It was a day of all days to be by myself. It ended up being one of the busiest Saturdays of the year. To top it off I had to put an order in to get more supplies in and we actually got supplies in as well. I had no choice but to be at my best and to do everything right the first time. I worked through the morning when the manager of the store came over and said I need to go help get carts for the store and run Food Ave. At that point they did send help for Food Ave but I had to tell them what to do and how to do it. It was my first real leader ship position.
I was on the ball. I would run into Food Ave and get one page of an order done, tell the helpers what had to be done next and where to get the supplies to do it, then I went outside and grabbed carts to bring into the store, and at one point I gave breaks to several parts of the store. I was doing my best and it was showing.
When the day came to an end I was put in charge of 2 departments and had worked in over 5 others within the store. It came to show that when I really put my mind to it I can be the best of the best at what I’m trying to do. As long as I keep that mind set when it comes to my first semester of school, I should have no problems. I just have to keep the bull by the horns and do my homework, show up to class and I’ll be able to feel the same amount of accomplishment that I felt that day at work.
