At this very moment, I do not think that i really have any one that could wright me a recommendation. I'm pretty sure thats mainly becuase I haven't been here long enough to make any conections with the proffosers yet. If I were to go back to highschool I could have a few people that would be happy to right one for me.
If I had to get one from a prof. tomorrow,i would go to my calc teacher becuase he is the only one that has had enough personal interaction with me to be able to right a recommendation about me that would be truethful. But i find it funny that he mainly knows me as the "Trig Guy", even though its in calc.

It's a good idea only to use the contacts who you already know and really know you, like those from high school. You'll begin to develop new contacts though, and that will be most beneficial for you. Good luck man!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is the smallest connections that make the biggest difference. It is still early, and hopefully you can find a mentor soont that will be there to write you a letter of recommendation
ReplyDeleteExactly, just making a few small connections can be very beneficial.
ReplyDeleteI don't have many contacts here either because we are all new at this. But making connections with people will be very important to us when we start looking for our careers and such!
ReplyDeleteIt's good that your professor knows you on a somewhat personal level. You should try going to your professors' office hours to get to know them better.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you know your calc teacher on a pretty personal level! That's great! I would just keep trying to get to know him better and better!
ReplyDeleteKeep those personal connections up with your professors...it will benefit you later on in life...
ReplyDeleteJust keep talking to proessors, you will get some good contacts soon :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds a lot like how I feel. I believe it takes time to find the right mentor.
ReplyDeleteGetting to know your professors is a great way to get connections. Keep making as many connections as you can.
