I wanted to join a club that was going to be in my major, but since I do not have one picked out yet, it was kind of hard to pick on to join. I have not actually officially joined one yet, but the one I want to join, I can't remember its name, but its related to Aerospace. Its a club thats actually funded by NASA and they build this satelite for space. The first thing they have to do is come up with a design and then they use high altitude weather balloons to take it up to 100,000 feet to see how it does in cold and almost 0 gravity conditions. Then they'll bring it down, fix it and send it back up for real, into space. This is all suppose to happen with in the time frame of me being here, so thats kind of one reason I would like to join this club is becuase I will be able to be there from start to finish. It its also a club that if i don't go into the aerospace, it would still be cool to be in it becuase I know I would enjoy it.

Sounds like it could be interesting...I haven't joined a club yet either but I decided I would wait until I get use to Iowa State before I put anymore things into my schedule.

ReplyDeleteAn organization based on aerospace sounds like alot of fun and I bet you would enjoy it... just make sure to build a good satellite.

ReplyDeleteThats sounds like a fun club and if you think you would like it you should go for it even if its not what your major might be...you never know that could get you to decide you major by ether thats what you want to do or that what you dont want to do cause its no fun
